Acts 11:7–10

And I heard a voice saying to me, Rise, Peter; kill and eat.’ But I said, ‘By no means, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’ But the voice answered a second time from heaven, What God has made clean, do not call common.’ 10 This happened three times, and all was drawn up again into heaven.

“I replied, ‘Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

“The voice spoke from heaven a second time, Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’ 10 This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.
