Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises,j so that through them you may participate in the divine nature,k having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.l

2 Peter 1:4 — English Standard Version (ESV)

by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
