3 This is what the Lord says:

“For three sins of Damascus,

even for four, I will not relent.

Because she threshed Gilead

with sledges having iron teeth,

4 I will send fire on the house of Hazael

that will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.

3 Thus saith the Lord;

For three transgressions of Damascus,

And for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;

Because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael,

Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

3 This is what the Lord says:

“The people of Damascus have sinned again and again,

and I will not let them go unpunished!

They beat down my people in Gilead

as grain is threshed with iron sledges.

4 So I will send down fire on King Hazael’s palace,

and the fortresses of King Ben-hadad will be destroyed.

3 Thus says the Lord:

“For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four,

I will not turn away its punishment,

Because they have threshed Gilead with implements of iron.

4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael,

Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

3 This is what the Lord says:

“For the many crimes of Damascus,

I will punish them.

They drove over the people of Gilead

with threshing boards that had iron teeth.

4 So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael

that will destroy the strong towers of Ben-Hadad.

3 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron. 4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.

3 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke my sentence, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron. 4 And I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

3 This is what the Lord says: 

Because Damascus has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, 

I will not change my plans. 

The Arameans have crushed ⸤the people of⸥ Gilead 

with iron-spiked threshingsledges. 

4 I will send a fire on the house of Hazael 

and burn down the palaces of Ben Hadad. 

3 The Lord says:

I will not relent from punishing Damascus

for three crimes, even four,

because they threshed Gilead with iron sledges.

4 Therefore, I will send fire against Hazael’s palace,

and it will consume Ben-hadad’s citadels.

3 Thus says the Lord:

For three transgressions of Damascus,

and for four, I will not revoke the punishment;

because they have threshed Gilead

with threshing sledges of iron.

4 So I will send a fire on the house of Hazael,

and it shall devour the strongholds of Ben-hadad.

3 Thus says Yahweh, “For three transgressions of Damascus and for four I will not revoke the punishment, because they threshed Gilead with threshing sledges of iron! 4 So I will send fire against Hazael’s house and it will consume the citadel fortresses of Ben-Hadad.

3 The Lord says,

“The people of Damascus have sinned again and again.

So I will punish them.

They used threshing sleds with iron teeth

to crush Gilead’s people.

4 So I will send fire to destroy the palace of King Hazael.

It will burn up the forts of his son Ben-Hadad.

3 Thus says the Lord,

“For three transgressions of Damascus and for four

I will not revoke its punishment,

Because they threshed Gilead with implements of sharp iron.

4 “So I will send fire upon the house of Hazael

And it will consume the citadels of Ben-hadad.
