Psalm 97

aThe Lord reigneth; blet the earth rejoice;

Let the multitude of cisles be glad thereof.

dClouds and ddarkness are round about him:

eRighteousness and judgment are the ||ehabitation of his throne.

fA fire goeth before him,

And burneth up his enemies round about.

gHis lightnings enlightened the world:

The earth saw, and trembled.

hThe hills melted ilike wax at the presence of the Lord,

At the presence of kthe Lord of the whole earth.

lThe heavens declare his righteousness,

And all the people see his glory.

Confounded be all they that serve mgraven images,

That boast themselves of nidols:

oWorship him, all ye gods.

Zion heard, and pwas glad;

And pthe daughters of Judah rejoiced

Because of thy judgments, O Lord.

For thou, Lord, art qhigh above all the earth:

Thou art exalted far rabove all gods.

10  Ye that love the Lord, shate evil:

tHe preserveth the souls of uhis saints;

vHe delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

11  wLight is sown for the righteous,

And gladness for xthe upright in heart.

12  yRejoice in the Lord, ye righteous;

zAnd give thanks ||at the remembrance of his holiness.
